Goldsboro Police Department August 18, 2008 Jamie Frowein reported that someone stole her purse that was accidentally left at a local bank. Video surveillance was obtained and a photograph was displayed in the media. The suspect was identified by an anonymous caller(s). A warrant was obtained. The suspect, Dana Michelle Smith aka Dana Michelle Blevins, was arrested and confessed to the crime. She was charged with Felonious Larceny, received a $1,500.00 bond and was placed in the Wayne County Jail. Goldsboro Police Department
Criminal Investigation Division PRESS RELEASE On 2-29-08, Toyota of Goldsboro reported that a white female by the name of Terri Harrison Robbins (DOB 9-8-60) purchased a 2008 Toyota Camry by writing a $24,072.47 check. The check was returned to Toyota of Goldsboro from the bank because the check was written on a closed account. Goldsboro Police Department Officers from Goldsboro PD A Shift responded to a breaking and entering call at Apt 701, Goldsboro Police Department On 09/07/2008, at approximately 1706hrs, C-Shift Patrol Officers responded to the 1700 block of E. Maple Street in reference to shots being fired. Upon their arrival, Officers located Craig Doubt III behind 1722 E. Maple Street. Criminal Investigation Division PRESS RELEASE On 9-7-08 members of the Goldsboro Police Department āCā Shift arrested Joshua Earl Devon Davis, black male, 21 years of age, of 610 S. Center Street, Mount Olive, NC after receiving information about his possible whereabouts. Mr. Davis was charged with attempted first degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon. Goldsboro Police Department On September 5, 2008 at approximately 12:30 p.m. āCā Shift officers with the Goldsboro Police Department responded to 1503 Catalpa St. in reference to suspicious activity at that vacant residence. Upon arrival officer located 24 year old Mario Applewhite and 24 year old Mike Green inside the residence. Goldsboro Police Department On September 2, 2008, the Goldsboro Police responded to the intersection of Isler Street and Alvin Street in reference to a subject reported to have been stopped by someone impersonating Law Enforcement. The subjects were driving a blue Buick Lasabre, and were activating red, white and amber lights. On September 3, 2008, two subjects were identified via Crimestoppers as Allen Norman, W/M, and Rheanna Tillman, W/F. Both subjects were charged with Impersonating Law Enforcement and have a court date set for October 20, 2008. |
